As I am still in recovery and catch up mode here at home after our Week at the Beach (photos and details coming soon) I thought I’d start the week out with a Jif Giveaway. Who doesn’t love a giveaway and especially one for something delicious!!??
I think one of the best flavor combinations ever invented may just be peanut butter and chocolate. Well, Jif has put a new twist on that combination and joined together chocolate and hazelnut is some fun new products. You may have already seen these at your local grocery but if you haven’t you are definitely going to want to go looking. Jif has combined a few new flavors Chocolate and Hazelnut Spread and Mocha Cappuccino Flavored Hazelnut Spread.
Good thing Jif sent a spoon along with their product for me to try so I could dig right in! I started imagining all the fun things I could use these new spreads with. My first thought was of course s’mores since they had also sent along some graham crackers and marshmallows and since we were headed to the beach and I knew a few bonfires were in our future. I was right – it was a pretty amazing combination.
I also made some crepes for breakfast while the kids were home and the Chocolate and Hazelnuts spread was delicious on a crepe covered with berries and whip cream.
I am pretty sure the possibilities are endless…..

I would use the Jif Hazelnut Spread on bananas—then roll in crushed nuts and freeze! YUM for those many hot days here in Texas!
Pretty sure the first thing I’d do once I got the spread would be to take a spoon to it

I’ll bet it would be amazing in a chocolate peanut butter pie!
I would get a can of crescent rolls, spread it on the dough, then roll up about a third of a banana and bake according to the instructions on the can. This will make a yummy breakfast… or appetizer.
I am following you on pinterest. I would also try and spread them in the center of celery sticks. I have had regular peanut butter that way, and wonder how the other flavors would taste like that!

I’m going to put that **** on everything! Well, I’ll tell you what…when my boyfriend first tried a hazelnut spread his first reaction was “this needs to be in our house at all times!” So…this would be an awesome start to our love of the hazelnut spread….and we LOOOOOOOVE Jif! (even our doggy does)

I have a recipe for chocolate hazelnut torte that I could use this instead of nutella in.
I’d bet just about anything would be great with Jif’s hazelnut spreads but I’m really excited to try a grilled panini made with the chocolate spread and fresh strawberries. Or should I try a mocha cappuccino spread with fresh bananas? Decisions, decisions, decisions!
