In My Pretty Garden

Today’s pretty post is full of pictures of what is blooming in my mid-summer garden right now. This time of year is always a bit of a lull. There are a few roses but most of them are getting ready for their second flush. The fall asters aren’t blooming yet but there was still plenty of pretty to see!

And then there are the butterfly bushes – one of my favorite!

I lost most of my penstemon with the rough winter we had but this hardy one managed to survive.

Believe me there were plenty of weeds in the garden too – they just aren’t too pretty!

Your flowers are soo pretty. I may try to convince Olivia to photograph what’s blooming in my yard and post them. Or maybe I’ll just borrow her camera!

Soo pretty. We actually have hibiscus blooming right now. We love them, but aren’t sure where to get more…

Oh I love the garden pictures! I want to come live at your house.

Seriously, it is inspiring to me to see how you make your home (and yard) beautiful in the process of caring for your family.
