There are only a few days left until my year of Finding 50 is complete – can you believe it? It has been a wonderful and pretty journey. The only downside to it being over is that it means I am a year older! I’ll have my last pretty post next week and then we will be onto Finding Focus!
Happy winter. It’s been a bit chilly around here lately. We’ve had sunshine but the temperatures have been below freezing a lot of the time. The frosty air has created some pretty photos though.

There is even ice on the pond.

We’ve had some amazing sunrises this last week. This is what greeted me out my living room window one morning.

The garden may have gone to sleep for the winter but there is still lots of pretty to be found.
Day 362 – December 31
I loved the bright red berry against the dull, gray background of winter.
Day 363 – January 1
The hydrangeas may have lost their color but not their lovely texture.
Day 364 – January 2
A warm and toasty Sunday morning with a fire and a good book.

I’m a little disappointed your time with the “Finding Pretty” is almost over. I have enjoyed it so much! You’ve helped me realize to stop and find the pretty in my everyday life and I’m always amazed at how beautiful the world around me really is.

I’ve made several of your recipes- the pecan pie muffins, the sour cream apple bars and the avalanche bark just to name a few, and they have all been a hit. My family just loved them! I look forward to many more yummy recipes from you in 2011
