We are back from the beach. We had a wonderful time and loved every minute of being with 55 members of Jim’s family! We stayed at our beach house in Manzanita and rented two other houses. There was lots of food and fun plus lots of pretty sunsets!
July 12 – Day 190
So I went to the dump in Manzanita looking for an old chair to use for some family photo shoots on the beach – look what I found! Straight out of the 1960′s! The best part – it only cost me $9.00!
July 13 – Day 191
We were able to celebrate this pretty girl’s 17th birthday while we are at the beach. How did my baby get to be 17!!!

July 14 – Day 192
There were lots of pretty mornings at the beach….
July 15 – Day 193
And lots of pretty evenings….
with bonfires on the beach.
July 16 – Day 194
And we had fun taking pretty crazy pictures like these!

July 17 – Day 195
Back in Portland with all my kids. Saturday morning included a new breakfast place and the Farmer’s Market and just some fun time together!
July 18 – Day 196
A wonderful week with lots of wonderful memories. Thanks to these two amazing people….
So how was your week?

You have some great pictures. Love the jumping pictures with the wonderful sunset behind you. I’m shopping for a new camera. What do you use and why do you like it?
Thanks for any input!
I love Manzanita too! Dave’s parents also have a beach house there so that’s where we stay when we’re at the coast. Such cute lovely little town!
beautiful~ all of it!
Thans for helping us catch so many of our memories through pictures. We can’t wait to see all of them. THANKS, Leigh Anne and Jim!
It looks like you guys had an awesome time! I’m glad that you’re home now though, because I can hang out with Tessa!
That vintage chair is so amazing! Did you bring it home with you? If so, I would happily buy it from you if you’re interested. Let me know!
P.S. my mom and I are making a variation of your strawberry pizza tonight because we have a friend coming over for dinner.
The chair went back to the dump because there was no room in the car! Sorry! Enjoy that strawberry pizza!
Wow!! What beautiful pictures! You have such a beautiful family. How many siblings does Jim have? I absolutely love that each individual family is in their own color!
Jim has an older brother and sister and a younger brother and sister so 5 kids total! As you can see by the colored shirts our family has a little catching up to do!!
I love any sunset photos and these were incredible–especially the synchronized jumping! We talked about doing color coordinated shirts for each family the last 2 reunions. Thx for the visual as maybe this will help prove the point!
I can’t pick a favorite. These are beautiful pictures!
