Your BBQ sauce is delicious! I served it on ribs, and last night I used it again and added a dash of smoke flavoring-for a crockpot pulled pork recipe. I’ll never go back to a bottled sauce. Thanks!

The bbq ribs look great! I made the rolls tonight and they were a big hit with Stan! We also love the PW Crash potatoes .

That BBQ sound great! Its going on next weeks menu.
I go all out for the missionaries too! My husband says “aw their tough, don’t spoil ‘em!” But I remember not so long ago he was starving in an area that couldn’t or wouldn’t feed the missionaries. haha
We have 4 of them at least twice a month and tell them to call if they’re hungry. We love having them over. I figure I’m ‘feeding the bank’ instead of paying forward. If I can feed 4 missionaries twice a month for the next 17 years, our sons will get the same in return PLUS the benefit of seeing elders in our home and getting them excited about serving too!

I tried out the yeast rolls this week. Those are dangerous to have around the house so quickly. I did make them much too big (only 8 instead of 12) so they were a bit dense heavy. But still how can you pass up yeast rolls with no rising? Thanks for sharing the link.

mmm, corn, ribs, sauce AND rolls & apple dumplings?? seriously, my mouth is watering…i’ve never seen riblets available in our area but now i am SURE to look for some next time i’m out shopping – yum!! thx for sharing the recipes!

I love’d seeing the missionaries at your house! What a nice meal you prepared for them. Our missionaries are having dinner at our house tonight. I showed my husband the comment that your husband made about not having to go to so much trouble for the dinner menu. We laughed because Steve says the exact same thing to me. These young men give up two years of their lives to serve the Lord. The least I can do is feed them a nice meal. Our son, Adam just came home from his mission in the Nevada, Las Vegas West Mission. Our youngest son, Kyle is ready to leave for his mission to Manchester, England on the 15th
of Oct. (a few more weeks). Can’t wait to hear of his adventures there.

Wow Leigh Anne, that looks like one fantastic meal! I am sure the boys loved it! If I ever make it to Portland, can I come over for dinner one night too???

The riblets look delicious! Being southern, I love a good BBQ recipe! I am going to try out the Crash Hot Potatoes this week for sure — I have been on a baked potato kick lately (Yukon Gold is my absolute fav!) and I bet these will be my newest addiction! Pioneer Woman always has such awesome recipes!!! I will have to try the Apple Dumplings one of these days too, but since I am trying to lose some weight, I guess I’ll have to wait a litte while — I know I would eat more than one!!! )

Lovely dinner! What a blessing to have such wonderful dinner guests, thank you for feeding them. I was just looking at the 10 cans of tomato sauce in my pantry and wondering what to do with them. Instead of packing them up to send to grandma’s house, I think I’ll keep them and make some BBQ sauce! Thanks so much for sharing this post. We too are lovers of PW’s Crash Hot Potatoes.

We love the crash hot potatoes & the apple dumplings (I can never have just one!). The riblets look amazing. Keep the budget-friendly spreads coming. We’re having company this weekend and I’m wanting to have some fabulous meals without blowing my grocery budget.
