I am actually writing this post at the Portland airport. I am on my way to Utah to play mom/nurse to my son Clark who is having ACL repair surgery today. (He blew out the other knee four years ago so we’ve been through this before)
My suitcase has some special treats for those college kids. There are two containers of freezer jam straight from my freezer, a cute London t-shirt I found at Costco for Cali in honor of her upcoming study abroad in London as well as a book on the top day trips from London! There are also 3 bags of Cupid Corn Cookie Bark.
You see, I couldn’t resist when I saw this at Winco a few weeks ago….
You remember the fun Candy Corn Cookie Bark and the Reindeer Corn Cookie Bark? Well now there is Cupid Corn Cookie Bark!!!
If you haven’t made cookie bark yet – what are you waiting for!?!?!
For directions on how to make the super easy and super yummy cookie bark go here.
And if you can’t find the cute Valentine corn at your store just use the valentine colored M & M’s instead.
Because you can never have too much of a good thing – go make up a batch of Cupid Corn Cookie Bark for your sweetheart – they will love you even more for it!!

I am so not a fan of candy corn (which is odd because I love CANDY!!), but those Cupid Corns almost look good enough to try…and that cookie bark looks way too easy not to try…thx for the ideas!
Adorable idea!
I hope Clark has a speedy recovery. I winced when I read that he was having
surgery on his knee! Make sure he gets some Cupid Corn Candy Bark. It should help get his mind off of his discomfort at least for the moment.
I love all of your cookie barks & this one is just as pretty as the rest of them!
Off to find pretty pink candy corn on my lunch break
Wow… that looks deeeeelicious!
You are too skinny to be making and munching on these treats….. lol. This one looks delish! Thanks for sharing!
Yum! Yum! Yum! Why is it way too many points on Weight Watchers for me to try. . . .but at least I can drool and make some to share (will have to tape my mouth shut, so I don’t do way too much taste testing.) ??? Good Luck to Clark on the surgery. Hugs from WA!
Leign Anne… you. are. KILLING. me! Just kidding! I would totally make this for my daughter’s Kindergarten class, but we have been forbidden to bring in any candy (I can’t imagine why?!?).
It looks just as pretty as the original candy corn bark and the reindeer bark! Yummy!!!
I hope your son has a quick recovery from his surgery!
Oooh, that looks yummy!
I hope the surgery goes well and Clark has a speedy recovery!
I am a huge fan of all your cookie bark variations!! I took a little break and have not made any since Christmas. Today, I started to gather the supplies for a Valentine test run. I’m getting snowed in this weekend so it will be a yummy treat for sure. Love the name “Cupid” Bark!
I just made this using Valentine’s M&M’s instead of candy corn! It’s so yummy! I’m taking some of it over to my neighbors house for their Super Bowl party!
Hey Leigh Anne – my daughter is in Spain studying abroard this semester. She is going to London for her spring break in March. Can you tell me the name of the book about the day trips in London. I know your daughter will have a blast. The only really bad thing right now is the exchange rate, it is killing my daughter’s budget!:(
How funny that when I saw these candy corns in the store a few weeks ago, my first thought went to your blog! I made your reindeer bark for my family at Christmas and it was a BIG hit. Another variation that I have been considering is something with Girl Scout cookies. We are selling right now and I have been trying to think about a combination that would be yummy. (I have some serious cookies on the brain.)
Good luck to you son on the surgery and recovery!
I am a total Girl Scout cookie fan – comes from all my years of being a Brownie leader! I think thin mints would be amazing in some cookie bark – maybe with some mint M & M’s or chopped up Andes mints? What do you think??
Yumm-o!! I featured this in my round up today: http://www.vixenmade.com/2013/02/14-treats-for-your-valentine.html
