Congratulations to #99 LaTanya who has won herself a copy of Emeril’s new cookbook! Wonder what she’ll grill first!
Send me your mailing information LaTanya and the publisher will get the book mailed right out to you!
Several weeks ago I shared a recipe from a new cookbook Emeril at the Grill: A Cookbook for All Seasons. We loved his Grilled Marinated Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce.

The publisher had sent me a copy of the cookbook to preview and share a few of the recipes here on the blog. They also agreed to give me a second copy so I could do a giveaway with one. I love mine so much I didn’t want to give it up!
So today you have an opportunity to win a copy of Emeril at the Grill: A Cookbook for All Seasons. I am loving this cookbook and have marked dozens of recipes to try. This cookbook would be a perfect Father’s Day gift – even if your husband doesn’t cook!
Remember my last giveaway? Yes, you really came through for me and there were 228 entries. Thank you!
So do you think we can break that record with this giveaway ? I know you can do it!
To enter just leave a comment below letting me know what your favorite thing is to throw on the grill!

I can’t believe I’m first! That can’t be good 1 never wins!! I love to throw a nice Rib Eye on the grill! oh so yummy! Ribs would have to be a close second!
I love tri-tip (a cut of meat that you only seem to see in California, very occasionally out here in the mid-west) and chicken. Oh and all sorts of veges too. Yum..
Pineapple. Nothing tastes better than juicy, sweet, grilled pineapple! Corn on the cob(still in the husk)is yummy too.
I live in the Texas panhandle (heart of ranching country), so beef, beef and more beef. Yum!
I love to make pizza on the grill. It always looks and tastes great and my guests are always impressed. But, I also make it for my family all the time. If you’ve never tried it, check out http://www.ourbestbites.com for their tutorial and awesome recipe for Asian BBQ Chicken Pizza.
Grilled Pineapple!
I love cooking kabobs on the grill. So good! And fun to make too.
Grilled Pizza…so so good!

Pork loin, so easy and very yummy!
We love steak!
Tri tip from Costco is the best! I marinade in seasonings and Worcestershire sauce, the thought is making me hungry.
Thanks Leigh Anne.
I love marinated flank steak shiskabobs! Delish
Thanks leigh Anne we love your blog – especially the recipes.
My favorite thing to put on the grill is marinated chicken kabobs with a spicy honey glaze! (p.s. I go the honey glaze recipe from here!)
WE LOVE putting Pinnapple on the grill yummo!!! it is a great addition to a salad, burger, or on top of grilled chicken … it gives summer a hawaiian feel!!!
Chicken marinated in Zesty Italian and thrown on the grill – yummmmmmy!!! I think hamburgers are tied though, especially with my husband’s wonderful seasoning!!
I love tri-tip as well – didn’t know it was a California thing though!!!
Our favorite thing on the grill is chicken. We enjoy using grilling planks. My husband loves to grill. We try to grill outside during the summer so we don’t over heat our home when the temps outside can reach 115 degrees. Have great opportunities to use the grill year round with our arizona weather.
I love grilled corn on the cob, chicken breasts, kabobs, and burgers. I also like to make shredded potatoes and onions wrapped in foil.
My husband and I just found your site and we absolutely loved your teriyaki burgers with grilled pineapple. That’s at the top of our grill favorites right now. Thanks for the great recipes!
Burgers
either tenderloin or shrimps. it’s all good.
Teriyaki Chicken and Steak are regulars on our menu, but I get the most compliments when I make the fast fire flank steak!!!
We love to grill flank steak and pizza! Yum!
I love to cook marinated lamb chops on the grill. Next favorites is buffalo. I do well with steaks and pork chops, but am a failure with fish!!!! It ends up either dried out or mushy.
I grill 2-3 times a week during the summer. Lots of chicken, lots of pizza (probably the all time favorite around here). I’m pleased to say that I’m finally better at grilling than my hubby!
Veggies on the grill!
We love kabobs, but my husband loves burgers with pineapple, so we’ll definitely have to try your teriyaki burger recipe.
Hamburgers are my all time favorite followed closely by Karen’s flank steak.
My favorite grilled food is a tie between carribean steak kabobs and corn on the cob. Both in one meal would be heaven!

If I have to pick one thing, it would have to be steak.
Leigh Anne, I love your blog, you are a wonder woman! Do you ever sleep? I don’t know how you get all the things done in a day that you do! Yesterday we grilled ribs after “steaming” them with apple juice for 3 hours. Talk about Yummo, the meet is soo tender.

Yeah, we love shish kabob as well.
Chunks of beef marinated in red wine vinegar, garlic salt and pepper, tiny bit of oil. Grape tomatoes, onions, green peppers, mushrooms also marinated. When it’s all done – we eat it with syrian flat bread. Just roll up a veggie and a piece of beef. Totally scrumptious!
would love this! Our favorite things to grill are zucchini (sliced 1/4 inch thick and brushed with olive oil) and pineapple!
I KNOW my husband would absolutely love an excuse to use the grill more often. Even if we don’t win the book, I should let him grill more often. Guess I’ll see if the library has the book.
My favorites? A toss-up between cedar planked salmon OR marinated flank steak. Yummers!
Although most grilled items are delicious, no matter what they are, recently I have been testing out recipes that are vegetarian as a few people in my family have decided to stop eating meat. Turns out just about any vegetable can be thrown on a shish kabob and takes just about amazing. (Favorites include: squash, onion, tomatoes, and cauliflower)
I really love a beautifully marinated chicken breast – or even better yet, pineapple. This is probably my favorite grilled item!
I love to do fish on the grill–it keeps the odor outdoors. Actually, I love nearly everything on the grill (and not only because it’s the one time my husband helps with dinner, although that’s a great perk!)
We grill often – chicken, ribeyes, salmon, and hamburgers. I love grilled zucchini and summer squash, but grilled peaches with vanilla ice cream is simply sublime!
During our 13 consecutive days over 100 here in Arizona, anything on the grill is best. I do love turkey burgers though, filled with peppers and onions.
I love just a regular cheese burger.
My favorite thing to grill would be steak, BUT the thing we grill the most is hamburgers.
We’re pretty boring when it comes to grilling, so my favorite thing we grill is chicken.

I think my family would say grilled vegetables. After they are grilled, I take them and rough chop them, toss them in a hot pan with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper and toss with pasta….yummmmmyyyyy!!!!!
We also love artichokes. We had these for the first time at at the Hitching Post from the movie “Sideways”. They are amazing and I highly recommend trying their seasoning on them and their sauce. You can buy both online at their website. I think we had these 3 times last week when my daughters came home from college…..they couldn’t get enough.

Flank Steak” recipe. Another really good one! With it we had corn on the cob and asparagus.

Wow – I feel like a grilling slacker after reading 118 posts. Thanks to all those who commented for their WONDERFUL ideas. At present, we typically grill hamburgers and the occasional steak. Now I’m dying to try pineapple – do I just throw slices on the grill, or….??
I collect cookbooks – would love to have an Emeril one – but either way, I’m just happy that the grilling world has just opened up for me.
Our favorite think to put on the grill is marinated steaks. BUT since our budget has been greatly reduced we’ve been doing a lot of hot dogs and chicken.

We grill at least twice a week during the summer months…I just love being outside in the afternoons. As for what we grill, we’re just a simple cheeseburger family…and since it’s elk meat, which is much leaner than beef, we don’t feel so bad when we eat cheeseburgers every week! We also grill our steaks, too. I LOVE our grill – it’s one of the Weber charcoal BBQ’s that has the gas flame igniter. So our coals are ready to grill on in under 8 minutes!
We love hamburgers and would love to receive this cookbook so we would have more recipes to try.
kabobs. Oh yum!

ANYTHING!! What makes grilling so easy is that my husband does such a fabulous job doing it! I love grilled potatoes and pineapple for sure!
We like to grill a nice piece of Sockeye or any other Pacific wild salmon when it’s available in AZ. We start out by putting a piece of cedar plank in water for 20 minutes. Then we lightly clean off the salmon & pat it dry with a paper towel, we add misquite seasonings, Kosher salt, organic no-salt seasonings, sprinkle brown sugar on top & spray lightly with olive oil. Grill on med. heat on a gas grill for approx. 15 minutes until the salmon flakes when forked.

We don’t get to do it very often, usually in the summer. We love grilling tomatoes and topping them with cheese. They are just delicious!
