All of the delicious flavors of your favorite cookie in an ooey, gooey chocolate chip cookie pie. It’s the classic chocolate chip cookie in pie form.
I have been making this recipe I have been making for over 30 years. My favorite dessert of all times is a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
Today’s recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie is a the perfect combination of a warm chocolate cookie and a piece of pie. Basically a cookie in the form of a pie.
Copycat Toll House Pie
This dessert is an easy one to put together and you probably have all the ingredients you need on hand. It is an easy to throw together, last minute dessert. I like to keep frozen pie crusts in the freezer so that when the urge hits I am ready to go! If you don’t have a pie crust in the freezer you can always make one from scratch.
The filling for the pie is just like cookie dough and tastes just like cookie dough! Try not to eat too much of it before filling the pie crust!

How to Make a Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie
Pie Crust. Use a store bought frozen or refrigerated pie crust or make a homemade one. Either will work. No need to bake the piecrust before filling it.
Pie Filling. This mixture is basically cookie dough, it tastes like cookie dough but it has the texture of muffin batter.
Chocolate Chips. Just like with my chocolate chip cookies, I switch up the type of chocolate chips I use. Sometimes I use semi sweet, some times milk chocolate and one of my favorite combinations is use to use semi sweet, milk chocolate and white chocolate all together!
Bake the pie 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes. The pie is pretty gooey when it comes out of the oven. If you love a gooey cookie, enjoy it warm. If you prefer your cookies not so gooey bake for another 10 minutes and then let the pie cool before serving and slicing. Top it with a scoop of ice cream and enjoy!!! Yum!!!
If you don’t consider yourself a pie maker, this is the perfect pie to start with

Oh Leigh Anne, I NEED a piece of this RIGHT NOW! Seriously I’m about to lick the screen. I’ve had something similar to that but it’s been so long and I’ve never made it myself. I’ll definitely be trying it!
Oh, and I have a Skookie pan too, they’re fun!

I found a cute cast-iron skillet called Skookie which is made specifically for the Pizookie-type dessert. Oh yum-oh yum! This pie looks killer good. Can you pretty much put any c.c.c. recipe into a pie crust and come up with the same result? I would think no, because your recipe only has 1/2 cup flour. And, I love you for leaving out the nuts. I will be doing the same. Yucky nuts!
