I made this last night and used a bag of the white chocolate melting disks. I think the bag is 14 oz. It was a stretch and the side that had less white chocolate required a little more spreading which made it look not as pretty. I think with the halloween oreos and sprinkles you could get away with not using the candy corn because that part of it is just over the top sweet! I’m not a huge fan of candy corn so maybe that’s why I found myself eating around the candy corn when I sampled it. The bites with candy corn were just too sweet for me. It’s a great festive recipe though! Quick and easy and fun for kids to help make as well.

Thank you for such a quick and easy recipe. I had to make a last minute snack for my first grader’s class tomorrow. This is perfect. Just waiting on it to cool so I can put it in baggies now.

Try using almond bark next time. I use the chocolate melts that Winco sells in their bulk food and they work great. You can also try adding a little parafin wax to your chocolate to help thin it out and make it easier to pour.

I tried this recipe but used Wilton Candy Melts. The candy never melted to pouring consistency & was next to impossible to spread over the layer of candy corn, cookies, pretzels. It definitely did not end up looking pretty like yours!:( I guess I need to find a different white chocolate that melts to pouring stage.

It might be that you didn’t have enough of the white chocolate. The second time I made it I didn’t have as much white chocolate melts and it didn’t look as pretty! But it still tasted good!!!
