That looks too good. We have a bucket of apples that need to get used as well as our annual Harvest Festival at church this weekend… I’m thinking there is going to be a shopping trip before the Festival…

Thanks for sharing the recipe Leigh Anne. It came from my friend Kris Brown. Two years ago, the Heath toffee bits were discontinued and we had to go on a web search for them. Luckily Skor came out with their version.
It is addicting and I’m embarrassed to say that when we ran out of apples at a teacher’s meeting, we just ate the dip with spoons!

LOVE IT! Caramelled apples have always been a favorite of mine… found the absolute best “dipping” caramel recipe ever a couple years ago. We love to make them just like the ones at “Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory,” drizzled with dark and white chocolate and sprinkled with a variety of nuts and chocolate candies. I’ll have to send that recipe to you sometime, too! I can’t wait to try THIS recipe and add it to my collection.

The basket had an assortment of different colored apples, Skor bits and the recipe in it. I added the rest. Of course she decorated the basket up cute with fabric and ribbon. It would make a great gift for friends and neighbors during the holiday.

Oh man, that sounds delightful!

I have a tip to avoid the browning issue: cut the apples & any other fruit that tends to brown & immediately put into a glass bowl that has a tablespoon of vinegar & enough water to cover the fruit once it’s cut. The vinegar keeps it from browning. Once your ready to serve, drain, rinse, drain & serve! Crisp, cold, beautiful apples.
